Ho dimenticato qualcosa? Ah, già: i libri!
“Il Libro della Vita” è un piccolo racconto, lungo circa sei pagine, that is linked to the myth of the "Gulls of the Stars." This is a story of the first generation, that is a story intertwined with the fantastic atmosphere typical of my yearning emotional stories of this type. It 's definitely a tale "secondary" as output, but this does not affect the quality of the story nor the style used. The fact of the "secondary account" or "principal" is determined only by its complexity. It is in fact the description of a single "scene" so that does not involve the broader vision, almost novel, typical of my stories more complex. But I read that risulti piacevole e soprattutto molto evocativo.
Tanto per cominciare è bene non puntare subito il dito contro la pubblicazione on the Web because it is often the only way available to aspiring writers to get noticed. And you do not need to observe how the "real" book are printed in an age where e-books are encountering more and more market shares in favor, except that I consider to be "books" only objects I can touch and above to browse. The publishing scene ours is complex and varied, not always logical. You know the immense wealth of publishing houses that exist today that meet a need which is what typically italic writing and getting published. It 's a fact of life as it is the bitter realization that there are more writers (Or aspiring) who readers. Some say that the books are sold, and well, but we must also look at what books are sold. The novels of quality still exist today (Thank God) but a significant proportion of the other titles do, than business but pleasant to very, very, very much ... but on which commercial flights over for love of country. Anyone will be motivated by respect, "noble", or write and publish not only to attract attention, he must still face a process that almost never see him excel in sales and reputation. If our neophyte who has never published, he wrote a life and wants to try to publish what might fare? Read more just browse online and discover a number of sites that offer various solutions at competitive prices. Some of these solutions also include the use of the ISBN, which makes the book a true friend of our publication. The dark side of this solution? PODS satisfied all then in addition to our rookie (we assume it to be a talented person), there will be other people who are convinced promises unheard publishing world. But I do not recommend the use of a publishing house to pay: If your writing is and especially if you truly believe you me to love the holy patience and look for those who actually publish editorials without asking for money. Then add one important note: the first book will never be a success (we do not consider those who arrive in Italy to the worldwide success with the first job. In that case there are complex dynamics that we are not going to discuss here) and certainly would be unlikely to arrive in bookstores . May like or not but this is already a form of selection, and then used other books (in the second then you're classified as an emerging) and a lot of passion. Remember also that a CV worthy of note, for a serious publisher, it is also clear from editorials in reality I pay. This means that paying for getting published, for haste is not always frowned upon but not by an editor who asks nothing but quality to publish your novel. There are also publishers of double track, that is, if they choose to require contributions according to criteria such as marketability, gender and other details of the works examined. In these cases follow an editorial line that leads them to explore the works arrived but judging from time to time whether it is appropriate or not to invest. Do not think, moreover, that a publishing house "should" always find the novel "right" between the slaughter of manuscripts that come to the office. These are human beings not machines. (Remember that on average a small publishing reality every day is "targeted" four \\ six manuscripts. Do a little 'you ...) There are also publishing houses completely "Free" really valid in a casino like the Italian nuclear power, are small or medium-sized publishing houses (excluding the majors, even if they are free, are a world apart) that are driven by passion and considerable critical and do not think that being small, the "savings" by having to look real blunders, which constitute the majority of the material that arrives in the newsroom. The rise of our friend is difficult and cumbersome. Only passion can help you to ignore the tempting offers of vision by those who want a cashier's check. As for me, I stumbled several times, like everyone else, but I never wanted no payment or to publish on the Web First, because I would not publish a fee to publish the impression (I wrote a book and then? If the dog pays the writing of my hand!), and second because I like paper books, but because it had no aversion to the Web "Alpha and Omega" publication was a chance that went well enough to be the first book by a newcomer, and most importantly a collection of short stories. A kind in the country of the Locust is never out of fashion (strange people, we are ...). I do not think has ever sold more than three hundred copies, but overall it was a good result. Caliamo but a veil for "Ultima Thule". consider this very good novel, genuinely based on a true story with a touch of fantasy to be limited. Who has read it, and I am just because it was practically non-distributed (another thing that happens all'esordiente) has always regarded the novel enjoyable. But despite the quality (and I assure you that anyone who has read it, well you were not friends!) That book remained innocent victim of logistical issues that are absurd! And it is precisely why I have proposed a viable publishing house, very competent and serious, now that my rights back. Names because I do not yet know the outcome of the selection but I assure you that this is di un’ottima realtà e quindi so per certo che il mio manoscritto sarà letto da gente competente.
Una buona Casa Editrice valuta i manoscritti dal punto di vista qualitativo assoluto e da quello commercial. remember also the factor "taste" because a Picasso is a Picasso, but if I do not like I can not publish it. Many publishers refrain from publishing a book maybe good but not commercial. E 'reasoning makes sense. Others will instead publish it, but already know that they can not expect many copies if it is not a household name, and then also publish books, but much more enjoyable because they allow business, sales, help to run the shack. For example, some time ago I read the mail of a publisher who refused "Four Blue Shadows" not for the intrinsic quality of the material (its goodness) but because it was short stories and the stories are NOT vendibilissimi from us. The bitterness was there but I swallowed the toad, mainly because the response was quite good! But I know for a fact that the publisher has read the whole manuscript and assessed accordingly. His speech was a commercially viable, has spent the time to evaluate my stuff and I appreciated the highlights. So I can not complain about such a choice, apart from shouting at the market, of course. But the market is a strange entity that depends on too many factors. The discourse on "Primus" it must be different. This is a novel complex, assolutamente inedito, Fantastico, e decisamente sofisticato, almeno per le mie umili possibilità. E’ stato proposto a una Casa Publishing very good, very serious, very demanding. It 's a media, with a good range of works by the same level (they are immodest, eh?) And that also publishes great. He is currently being evaluated and I'll know the outcome between December and January. How to publish an excerpt is not really possible. The novel must be totally new to the smallest detail. But when I will know the outcome will be promptly informed. Returning to our friend, if his novel is valid, it may already be considered lucky to have him brought to reality a little maybe but honest: the book will be read and examined anyway. Sure, but if three years after your book has been rejected by dozens of publishers to improve it perhaps would be the case ... And such a speech, my good friend, you can too. If you'd like to publish on the Web go ahead. It's not a bad choice but, in fact, a choice.
Last note: it is true that some publishers do not publish stuff already appeared online. And it is this factor that I considered when unwrapped a priori indict the publication of stories on the internet. But that does not mean that writing short stories for the same deal with different people is not a valid choice. The choice is yours, dear writer grass and, above all, good luck!
